Advantages and Features of EPS Emergency Power Supplies
EPS emergency power supplies can be regarded as an emerging industry that has experienced rapid growth only in the past two years. Compared with the well-established UPS technology, EPS systems share some similarities but also exhibit key differences. How long does the EPS emergency power supply provide power?
The duration of continuous power supply provided by an EPS emergency power supply shall be determined on a case-by-case basis. According to the national standard GB 17945-2010, “Fire Emergency Lighting and Evacuation Direction Systems,” when the mains power is interrupted, the EPS emergency power supply must provide continuous power for no less than 90 minutes. This requirement not only ensures adequate emergency lighting during fire-related evacuations but also meets the lighting needs of firefighters during rescue operations.
