Product Description

The control of the offset printing ink doctor blade is a complex ink-transfer process that involves the ink, the printing plate, and the paper. In gravure printing, however, the ink doctor blade operation is relatively straightforward. The blade must be highly wear-resistant to ensure high-quality print results and must be capable of meeting the high-speed requirements of modern gravure presses. An ink doctor blade is a thin blade mounted on the printing press that scrapes excess ink from the surface of the cylinder; it comes in both metal and non-metal varieties. Throughout each printing cycle, the ink doctor blade plays a critical role in removing ink from non-image areas.
Standard blades feature perfectly uniform blade thickness. Throughout the squeegee’s service life, the contact area with the doctor roll remains consistent, ensuring completely uniform tone. The blade’s polished finish enables rapid alignment between the blade and the doctor roll at the start of printing, thereby minimizing waste.
The blade geometry with a larger bevel angle results in reduced blade wear, while the decreased contact area delivers a crisp scraping performance. The extended diagonal design also helps minimize blade breakage. The bevel angle ranges from 4° to 15° and is suitable for short-run, layered printing applications.
The coated blade is made from a carbon steel substrate and features a nickel coating. This coating delivers outstanding corrosion resistance and oxidation resistance, making it ideally suited for printing with corrosive inks and varnishes. During operation, the coating also helps to compensate for minor damage to the doctor blade edge caused by impurities in the ink, thereby reducing color variation and the formation of streaks. The coated doctor blade is particularly well suited for coating applications.
When blade angle adjustment is difficult, new blades can be used on gravure printing presses. The sharp blades provide elastic tension while maintaining a high contact angle. This design ensures stable blade pressure and maintains the correct contact angle. Reducing printing pressure extends the service life of the cylinders and minimizes streaking.
With advances in science and technology, research on trapezoidal doctor blades for printing has shown that, owing to their constant contact area with the impression cylinder from end to end, they deliver consistent print quality, leading to their increasing adoption by printing manufacturers. Today, the vast majority of doctor blades on the market are trapezoidal.

4. Product Principle

The FEPS-WINZO series Fire Emergency Power Supply (FEPS) is a centralized emergency power device designed to serve as a second or third standby power source for Class I loads, critical loads, fire-fighting systems, emergency evacuation lighting, and other important 380V/220V electrical equipment within buildings. Under normal mains conditions, it supplies power to the load via an automatic transfer switch, while the system performs intelligent charging of the backup battery pack. In the event of a mains power outage or a voltage fluctuation exceeding 20% of the nominal level, the controller immediately triggers the inverter, causing the transfer switch to shift to the inverter output to ensure the continuous delivery of sinusoidal alternating current (AC). Once the grid voltage stabilizes and returns to its normal range, the emergency power system automatically reverts to the mains power supply.
